Jessica coordinated all of our wedding day details with ease and grace and made sure my husband and I were not stressed out throughout the process. She has an infectiously positive attitude that made the months-long planning process stress-free.

I tasked her with curating me a short list of several vendors (including make up/hair, florist and videographer) and she came back with vetted professionals and explanations as to why they would be a great fit. I went with all of her recommendations and they did not disappoint.

On our wedding day, she went above and beyond in every aspect. Our ceremony got rained out, and while drenched to the bone, she calmly shepherded our entire wedding party and guests to shelter while working to get a Plan B in place. In the end, her recommendation to wait for the rain to end was the best decision... we had the perfect wedding day!

We enlisted Jessica for her full service planning option and she was incredible! The actual day was so so so far beyond my expectation, it was literally perfect. Jessica handled so many tasks that I didn’t even think about. The day of her and her staff were so attentive to us and our guests, so many friends and family commented on how wonderful she was and her services. Highly recommend!

Jessica was absolutely incredible in helping plan and oversee my special day. From the moment she took over as our coordinator we automatically clicked and she is beyond personable. She has such an attention to detail and was really able to ask all the right questions and capture absolutely everything I envisioned for my wedding day. She was constantly on top of everything making sure all vendors and everyone else were all on the same page especially with some of the challenges my venue faced. She is constantly communicating and so organized I truly felt very little stress leading up to my wedding! Throughout the whole day she was always smiling making sure I was happy the entire day and throughout the reception. I have put off writing a review for months now because I simply cannot find the words to do Stairway Events/Jessica justice. She was the BEST decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. I thought I was the "chill bride," but as things came up, I quickly realized I was very particular and had specific requests. Not only was Jessica, the most flexible planner, but my ideas were also always met with a loving smile and encouraging note! She was our most prominent advocate, and she always jumped in and offered to have uncomfortable conversations with other vendors or simply do anything I felt overwhelmed by! Jessica was also our biggest cheerleader. My husband and I felt incredibly loved and celebrated by her throughout the wedding planning process, especially on our wedding day. If I could give anyone advice about picking vendors, it would be to select vendors you feel comfortable with. They play the most significant part in your day, and Jessica truly made our wedding day seamless. She allowed me to go crazy and decorate anything I wanted in the morning and then flawlessly picked up the pieces. One of the highlights of our day, and what I think speaks volumes about how organized yet flexible Jessica is, was near the end of the night, when I was having the time of my life on the dance floor and had no desire to cut the cake. Yet, she knew my husband really wanted to, so she kindly came back several times and checked in with me while I was dancing to see if I was ready. She knew exactly how to roll with the punches and let us run the day when we wanted to while also ensuring our desires for the day were met. Finally, she's just an awesome person! I felt so comfortable texting or calling her whenever I needed something, BOTH my husband and I wanted to be best friends with her because she was so genuine and kind! Nothing was too big of an ask or request to Jessica. I would recommend Jessica over and over again. I have complete confidence in her planning ANY type of wedding, and I know by the end of the process, you'll want to be her best friend!

PS: Just an hour before my wedding, I was craving chicken nuggets, and of course, sweet Jessica got her assistant to leave and get me McDonald's! She didn't even hesitate to make that happen. You simply could not ask for a better wedding planner.

This mother-of-the-bride is so happy to write a review for Jessica Reaves and Stairway Events! We are SO GRATEFUL for all the details she covered to make our wedding a success. Throughout the whole planning period, Jessica was available, flexible, and performed all tasks with excellence. And the day of. . .wow, she took away the stress and allowed the bride and the wedding party to enjoy every moment. So many things were taken care of behind the scenes. We are also grateful for her wonderful assistant, Lauren, for serving so well at our reception!

(Note: It was a clutch moment when Jessica grabbed the Tide-stick and gracefully removed a conspicuous stain from the bride's wedding dress caused by her floral arrangement just minutes before the ceremony!)

Jessica should have been the first person on my wedding team! I did not realize how much I was going to need her when I had started planning my wedding! I was on the fence about getting a wedding planner because people swore I would be able to manage all the details and guests and the "normal stress" that comes with planning a wedding but boy were they wrong! From the day we first spoke on the phone she was so clear with communicating, polite, and detail oriented! Even my vendors (who she took over communicating with the whole month leading up to the wedding) said they were blown away with how detailed she was.

Day of... I don't remember speaking with a single vendor yet everything flowed seamlessly. I DO remember needing to be two places at once and saying "Jessica??" and she would appear like a genie and ease all my worries. She made sure I ate, party favors were being spread all around the dance floor, I did things when I wanted to do them, and that I was having a worry-free time. I could not have imagined having the best day without her!!

The best decision we made while planning our wedding was hiring Jessica! I had spoken with several other planners on the phone but after talking with Jessica I knew immediately that I wanted to work with her. From the very first phone call she was very friendly and down to earth and really listened to what I had envisioned for our wedding. We hired Jessica as our one month coordinator so we had already booked some of our vendors but as soon as Jessica took over she made our lives a breeze! I wish we had hired her sooner! You don't realize how much goes into planning a wedding until you're actually planning one. There's so many emails to send out and decisions to make that it's easy to lose track of things. That's why I'm so thankful to Jessica and everything she did for us. Once our one month coordination started Jessica immediately got in touch with our vendors and handled all of our emails and kept everything organized. All of our stress was gone! If a vendor had a question that she couldn't answer she would contact us right away so she could let them know. Jessica went above and beyond to help us. Since we live 5 hrs away from the venue and covid made traveling difficult, she went to our 30 day out meeting with the venue on our behalf and set up a zoom call for us to be there virtually. She would even get on phone calls with me and the vendors and would ask questions that I didn't even think about. Jessica really thinks of everything when it comes to planning a wedding and I was so grateful for that! She created a detailed wedding day timeline that was very impressive and told us what time everything would be at and even when the vendors would come and set up. She even made sure the right music was playing at the right time for the different events on the day! When she asked us what we wanted to do for our grand exit I told her I wanted a horse drawn carriage and she started researching right away and got us quotes for a regular carriage....and a Cinderella carriage! When I had done some research early on I didn't even know a Cinderella carriage was an option! She even planned out where we would go on our carriage ride afterwards! Another idea Jessica had that I really loved was having food brought up to the bridal suite for my husband and I so we could have a little moment alone before we went downstairs for the reception. She made sure the catering company brought up plates for us and we had quite the feast! On the wedding day Jessica made sure everything ran smoothly. It was so nice having her as our coordinator because we didn't have to worry about anything! She made sure everything was set up in the right place and everything was to our liking, like even how the napkins were folded! Jessica even stepped in and helped when my mom had trouble buttoning up the back of my dress and also when we had difficulties bustling my dress. And oh did we have trouble with that bustle haha! If Jessica hadn't been there I don't know if we would have been able to get it! All throughout the day Jessica always came to check on us to see if we needed anything and would even go and get food and drinks for us! At the end she made sure all the vendors were cleared out when they were supposed to and made sure we had all of our stuff. I don't think our wedding would have been as great as it was if we didn't have Jessica. I cannot recommend her enough! If you want to have an amazing wedding planned and coordinated by someone who is very sweet, easy to work with, and detail oriented then you'll choose Jessica at Stairway Events! I am so happy with my decision to choose Jessica at Stairway Events to help plan my wedding! I am a medical student and my husband was working full time so we needed someone that could help ease the stress and anxiety that comes with planning a wedding. Jessica did exactly that. She had great vendor recommendations and she was always very quick to respond. She was also AMAZING on the day of! I don't know what we would have done without her. Simply the BEST DECISION my bride and I made was to work with Jessica to help plan/coordinate our dream wedding. From the start, Jessica listened to all our wants, helped us understand what our priorities should be, identified when certain vendors should be booked by and executed the entire 12-month process and wedding day flawlessly.

We had several video meetings due to the pandemic but that didn't stop Jessica from taking all the hard work off our plates. She didn't just manage the vendors we chose, she got us quotes from multiple vendors and came to us with prices/descriptions to make our lives easier. All we had to do was choose and she did the rest! I cannot tell you how appreciative we were for this.

The day of our wedding had a lot of moving parts (as expected). Jessica helped transport & set up décor, organized an incredible agenda for all the vendors/immediate family and coordinated the best wedding day we could ask for with ease. During the wedding, she and her assistant were super organized with their walkies and made everything go soooo smooth! Afterwards, she even helped clean up in the rain!

We seriously can't think of anything that went wrong the entire day.. Jessica, Em and I are so grateful for you and your consistent & reliable 5-star service. I fully recommend anyone searching for a planner to consider Jessica/Stairway Events. She is super fun, easy to work with and has our word-of-mouth advertising for life!

Choosing Stairway events was hands down one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process; I cannot recommend Jessica and her team enough!! Planning a wedding is a lot of work and planning a wedding during uncertain times is even more difficult, however Jessica navigated both with expertise, acute attention to detail, and compassion. She was detail-oriented, incredibly responsive, and took great care to ensure that all elements of the day were accounted for/confirmed. I cannot express enough the relief it was, especially in the weeks leading up to the wedding, to know that all details were accounted for and tracked daily. I did not have to worry about a single thing because I knew Jessica was on top of everything, both with vendors, the weekend-of schedule, and adjustments resulting from frequently changing guest counts/COVID requirements. Because of Jessica, I was able to walk into the wedding weekend relaxed and confident everything was taken care of. Her coordination allowed my family, friends and I to fully enjoy the weekend - we did not worry about anything besides showing up. She took great care that the vendors and wedding party were on-schedule and that everything was delivered/set-up/taken down according to plan. (Even down to small items, including taking care of a last-minute print emergency within 30 minutes, and picking up all the bridesmaid dresses/bags from where we got ready and delivering them to the venue so we did not have to worry about it.) The wedding day/weekend was truly better than anything I could have imagined and went off without any mishaps. Thank you so much Jessica and team for everything you did to offload the stress of wedding planning/coordination and making it (truly) the best day!!!

We had a lot of personal family circumstances, along with covid-19 during our wedding planning process, and Jessica made everything seamless!! Wedding planning under normal circumstances is tough, but it was much harder with our situation, and Jessica was everything we needed and more. You need someone you can trust, provide advice, and get the job done...Stairway events does all this and more!! Not only did we have circumstances during planning, we had rain on our wedding day at 2 outdoor venues, and I could not have made it through without stairway events! Jessica at Stairway Events was such a lifesaver for the month of our wedding! She immediately reached out to all of our vendors as the new point of contact and got everyone in order and on the same page. After she started, I barely had to do a thing. She emailed/texted me quick follow up questions for things I didn't even think of and would have missed if it weren't for her.

The week of our wedding we were expecting rain and Jessica was at ease coordinating our back up plan and letting all vendors know. On the day of our wedding she was everywhere at once, keeping our timeline in check and letting my husband and I enjoy every minute of our day.
